Michael Wellock, Director.
Michael has over 25 years planning experience. Michael has worked across the UK with private companies, public bodies and community groups. He has a wide range of town planning skills and knowledge, and has delivered multi-million pound projects. Michael believes the key to good planning is getting quality development on the ground.

Claire has worked as a town planner since the late 1990s and leads for the team on development. With over 10 years experience in development control, development management, she considerable experience of working on major planning applications, planning appeals and enforcement cases. Claire has extensive knowledge of all aspects of the development management process. Claire also has extensive experience of planning policy producing supplementary planning documents and development briefs. Skilled in urban design and conservation Claire played a key role in the public realm improvements within Burnley Town Centre Conservation Area, which won a Local Government Street Design Award in 2002.

David has been working in the environmental field for over 15 years, where he has gained a wide variety of experience from the third sector, civil service and public sector. Previous roles have involved large scale environmental enhancement programmes, protected landscapes, climate change and sustainability appraisal. David has a strong background in partnership and multi-disciplinary working to deliver strategic aims.

Martin qualified as a Chartered Accountant in London and worked for KPMG for two years before moving to the North West in 1977 to work for Phillips Electrical and then FW Woolworths. He then moved to Post Office Counter Ltd and during his sixteen years with them he undertook various finance and planning roles, finishing as the North West Regional Head of Finance. Martin then became Director of Finance for the East Lancashire Partnership, and for the last six years has been Burnley Councils Regenerate Accountant dealing with all the financial aspects of the multi-million pound Housing Market Renewal programme.

Louise brings over 16 year's experience of working at a senior level in town planning and regeneration. With a background in commercial land management and development, she has worked as a town planner since the mid 1990's, taking a leading role in specialist areas such as sustainable development and climate change, project management of environmental improvement programmes, and planning policy advice and production of local development framework documents. Louise's creative approach to community engagement in the town planning process has been widely recognised and she was instrumental in her team receiving national and regional RTPI awards for community engagement in Area Action Plans in 2007.
