Our series of guides to the Draft National Planning Policy Framework can now be downloaded as pdf documents.
If you need help with any issues on the draft NPPF, or help putting together your response to the consultation contact Mick, or Gareth, on 01282 872570, or email your questions.
The consultation runs until the 17th of October 2011. Already, it has stoked a lot of controversy, with groups such as the National Trust mounting campaigns against a number of aspects of the Draft NPPF. Especially, the failure to protect the countryside for its own sake.
Equally, many in the development industry welcome Draft NPPF’s relaxation of a number of areas of planning. For example, on housing and the presumption in favour of sustainable development.
Parts 1 to 6 can be downloaded from the following links:
Sustainable development and plan-making
Development management
Planning for prosperity
Housing
Green Belt
Climate change, flooding and coastal change
