In a quite bizarre turn of events Government has produced planning policy for Traveller Sites. Bizarre? Well, bizarre, because this new policy guidance was published only two days before the publication of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF). The NPPF, as you will not need reminding, was being heralded as 50 pages of national policy to replace the existing 2,000 or policy and guidance. So it does feel bizarre to have an 8 page supplement to th NPPF that will be published on the 27th of March 2012. But what of the new policy on Traveller Sites?
