Darlington Local Plan Preferred Option: Making and Growing Places

Darlington Council is seeking views on its Local Plan Preferred Option, Making and Growing Places. The Local Plan will identify where new housing, businesses, shops, schools, community facilities, doctor’s surgeries, roads and open space will go in the Borough up to 2026. It also says which land e.g. parks and playing fields and historic buildings will be protected. Bolton Consults on Land Allocations Plan

Bolton Council is consulting until the 16th of August 2013 on the publication version of its land allocations plan. The plan includes a written statement and a map. The map shows which sites could be used for developments such as new housing, new sites for jobs, and health facilities during the next 15 years. It also shows areas of land that should be protected from development, for example because that are in the Green Belt or are used for recreation.
