East Riding Council is consulting on the Draft East Riding Local Plan. The consultation focuses on two key documents: Draft Strategy Document – this sets the broad location and amount of development that will take place in each settlement in the East Riding.  It also contains a number of planning policies relating to specific issues, such as providing affordable housing, protecting the landscape character, preventing the loss of valuable services and facilities and minimising the risk of flooding.
