Horninglow and Eton Neighbourhood Plan Issues and Options Consultation
Horninglow and Eton parish council in East Staffordshire is consulting on issues and options as part of the area’s neigfhbourhood plan preparations. North West Leicestershire Call for Sites
North West Leicestershire are updating their existing Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA). As part of the update the Council are interested in receiving details of land with the potential for housing development. If you are aware of new sites within the district – now is the time to put them forward. There is no need to re-submit sites already submitted as part of a previous SHLAA. Stroud Consults on Local Plan
Stroud District Council is consulting on the Pre-Submission Draft of the area’s Local Plan. This is the last chance to comment on the planning policy for the whole District up to 2031 before submission to the Secretary of State. The period for submission of representations will run for six weeks from Wednesday 4 September 2013 until Wednesday 16 October 2013. All comments received will be submitted to the Secretary of State and considered as part of a public examination by an independent Planning Inspector. Representations at this stage should only be made to the legal compliance of the Local Plan and to the ‘soundness’ of the Local Plan. Selby Calls for Development Sites
Selby District Council is inviting developers, landowners and the wider public to put forward development sites. As part of the “Call for Sites” exercise land is being sought for all development types not just housing. The “Call for Sites” will inform future work on the Council’s Land Allocations Plan. If you are a landowner, developer or local community wanting to see a site developed in the future now is the time to put it forward. Submissions must be received by 11th of October 2013. East Riding of Yorkshire is consulting on major changes to the area’s new Local Plan. These changes affect the future of a number of towns and villages and the land owners within and around them. Cheshire West and Chester Local Plan Consultation
Cheshire West and Chester Council are consulting until the 1st of November on the area’s new Local Plan. The Publication Draft Local Plan (formerly the Core Strategy) sets out the vision and strategic policies including the overall level and location of development in the borough for the period 2010 to 2030. Darlington Local Plan Preferred Option: Making and Growing Places
Darlington Council is seeking views on its Local Plan Preferred Option, Making and Growing Places. The Local Plan will identify where new housing, businesses, shops, schools, community facilities, doctor’s surgeries, roads and open space will go in the Borough up to 2026. Parish and Town Councils Given £1.3 million to Neighbourhood Plan
Parish and Town Councils across England have been given £1.3 million to support the preparation of their Neighbourhood Plans. In total, 234 areas will receive a share of the £1,353,574 of Government funding from the neighbourhood planning grants distributed by Locality.
