Central Lincolnshire Site Allocations

The Central Lincolnshire Joint Planning Unit (covering Lincoln, West Lindsey and North Kesteven Districts) has begun consultation on a site allocations document. Starting with the current “preliminary engagement” consultation running from 20th May – 16th September 2013. The site allocations will seek to meet the housing nuber and employment land targets set in the Draft Core Strategy – 42,800 homes and 210 hectares of employment land. Leeds Site Allocations Issues and Options Consultation

For eight weeks, until the 29th of July, you can comment on Leeds City Council’s Issues and Options consultation on the City’s Site Allocations Plan. This key document will identify sites for development in Leeds up until 2028. At this Issues and Options stage the Council are setting out early ideas for site allocations for housing, employment, retailing and greenspace. This will be the first consultation in the preparation of the Site Allocations Plan.  The Plan will go through various stages of preparation and will be subject to examination in public by an independent Inspector before adoption by the Council. Rutland Site Allocations Consultation

Rutland County Council is consulting on the Preferred Options version of its Site Allocations and Policies Development Plan Document (DPD). This document will identify specific sites to be allocated for housing and other types of development in Rutland and set out detailed planning policies for determining planning applications. Sites are identified for about 330 new houses. Release of these sites would be phased: Phase 1 (2012-2016) Oakham, Uppingham, Empingham, Ketton Phase 2 (2016-2021) Uppingham Phase 3 (2021-2026) Ketton, Greetham, Ryhall Sites are also identified for retail, employment and waste management. Bolton Consults on Sites and Community Infrastructure Levy

  Bolton Council in Greater Manchester is consulting on the latest version of the town’s Site Allocations Plan, and the Draft Community Infrastructure Levy Charging Schedule. Bolton previously consulted on Site Allocations at the turn of the year, but the new Draft Plan that contains a Proposals Map, showing which sites might be suitable for development in the years up to 2026, including locations for new houses and new employment, includes a number of proposed changes. Trafford Consults on Land Allocations

  Trafford Council in Greater Manchester is consulting on future land allocations. The land allocations consultation is the next stage in the Council’s preparation of a new Local Plan for Trafford. The consultation document Shaping the Plan will: Identify and prioritise the sites necessary to meet the sustainable needs of the borough Identify the natural and built assets which should be protected/enhanced Identify the key design, environmental and infrastructure requirements for allocated sites Ensure that new development is delivered within an identified timescale Shaping the Plan builds from Trafford Core Strategy’s division of the Borough in to ten places, and seeks to meet the needs of these communities, as set out in the Spatial Profile and Place Objective sections of the Core Strategy. … Continue reading
